Since its formation in 1991 Frottola has performed at major venues and festivals throughout the United Kingdom. They have featured on BBC Radio 3's 'Music Restored' and 'Spirit of the Age' programmes. The group is known for engaging audiences with dramatic aspects, as well as for its beautiful and direct performances. Frottola worked with the National Gallery to create the concert 'The French Ambassadors', where it received its first performance. 'The French Ambassadors' has been released on CD by Meridian. The members of Frottola perform internationally as soloists, and with major early music groups including Gothic Voices, The King's Consort, The English Baroque Soloists, The Taverner Consort, Musica Antiqua of London, The Harp Consort, The Gabrielli Choir, Psalmody, Musicians of the Globe, The Dowland Consort, The Rose Consort, The Dufay Collective, The King's Singers, The Sixteen, The King's Consort, The Parley of Instruments and the New London Consort.
